The SeraLock Towers, SeraLock Pallets and WedgeLock Module system are the latest innovation for achieving high density, highly repeatable part clamping.

SeraLock Towers and SeraLock Pallets are designed with interlocking "V" shaped serrated surfaces for precise and repeatable alignment of WedgeLock clamping modules.

SeraLock Towers are available in four sided, two sided and single sided towers with a base that will mount to your HMC or an indexer for VMC applications. SeraLock pallets are available in sizes that will accommodate most vertical machining centers.

A custom, high density workholding system can be configured quickly when our WedgeLock modular system of single and double sided clamping jaws are used with the SeraLock Tower or SeraLock Pallet.

High Density Workholding Accuracy To The Ultimate
Kurt SeraLock Towers and SeraLock Pallets are workholding systems that can be easily configured into custom fixtures utilizing WedgeLock modular components. These systems give you the advantage of building a custom workholding fixture utilizing standard modular components.

The SeraLock Tower installation pictured at the right was setup with WedgeLocks to hold twelve parts to be machined. The parts being clamped are a member of a family of parts of various sizes. The manufacturer of these parts can change the setup to accommodate all sizes of parts within the family in a matter of minutes. The exclusive Kurt SeraLock mounting surfaces are the key to the quick, easy setups when changing over from one part to another.

The mounting surfaces of the Kurt SeraLock allow quick, repeatable accuracy when repositioning modular clamping elements such as the WedgeLock. The serrations on the mounting surfaces of Kurt SeraLock products align and locate SeraLock clamping elements with accuracy and the speed needed in today's manufacturing environment. And because of the versatility inherent in the system, setups ranging from extremely high-density loads of small parts to single station configurations for very large workpieces can be accommodated on the same workholding surface.

Key to the SeraLock system is the accuracy of the serrations in form and spacing. The serrations are a perfect match for both clamping surface (tower or subplate) and clamping module (clamps and stationary jaws).

The spacing, or pitch, of the serrations allows the use of a variety of economical, short stroke clamping elements. The movable and stationary components of the clamp can be located relative to one another on the subplate or tower so that the needed stroke of the movable component need be little more than the pitch serration.
