The
all purpose Chuck –concentric or eccentric.
The part is turned
cylindrically. The spindle stops. Then the setting tool that is clamped in the
turret is moved into the position at the chuck to set the hub. This disengages
the clutch of the chuck and the C-Axis then moves a programmed distance. A modern machine
control is able to calculate this distance, if not it can also be set manually.
Now, your ready for eccentric turning.
All that can be achieved by utilizing your standard clamping cylinder. At this
time the eccentric chuck is available in size 42 and the clamping head SK 42
BZI and in size 65 with the clamping head SK 65 BZI.
