Pneu-DexTM

The Pneu-Dex is hooked directly into your VMC control, allowing the owkrholding system to be integrated with all your CNC programs.  By utilizing auxiliary M-functions, the Pneu-Dex allows workpieces to be machined on multiple sides during a single clamping operation.  This greatly reduces the number of handlings required to manufacture a finished part, thereby increasing finished part accuracy.  The Pneu-Dex's Hirth coupling provides tremendous rigidity, allowing increases in machining feed rates to speed production while increasing machining precision.  In addition to being the most rigid indexable workholding system available, Pneu-Dex is also the most compact.  The Pneu-Dex concentrates multiple workholding stations into a very small footprint, maximizing the space utilization in your VMC's work envelope.  Increasing the number of workholding stations increases the number of workpieces and machining operations presented to the spindle during a single cycle.  This greatly reduces the number of unproductive spindle movements (tool changes), thereby increasing machine efficiency and decreasing manufacturing costs.   In fact, since the Pneu-Dex can fit into the Y-Axis of most VMC's, several Pneu-Dex Workholding Systems can be installed on a VMC table to provide long, unmanned machining cycyles - a must for large batch production.  The compact size allows a single Pneu-Dex to be dedicated to a VMC table, while still providing work envelope space for other production needs.  This gives contract manufacturers the flexibility to quickly respong to any job req2uirement.  Choose forma number of our Multi-Lok Workholding Systems to construct the Pneu-Dex that meets your application needs.
