MicroCentric's
revolutionary Quick Change Collet System features a segmented
Collet which is bonded by vulcanized rubber to form a
single clamping element. This collet is collapsed by a
special changing fixture to rapidly install and remove
it from the collet chuck. MicroCentric Collet Chucks are
available in pull back and fixed collet designs. Standard
chucks are designed to mount to your machine's spindle
nose, and use the existing draw tube and hydraulic actuator.

MicroCentric
Quick Change Collet chucks are operated by a simple mechanical
principle which not only minimizes frictional forces within
the chuck, but is also extremely rigid. This design together
with the parallel clamping action of the MicroCentric
Collet yields a superior chuck for demanding metalworking
applications. System features include:
Change
collets in 30 seconds
Parallel
clamping design generates higher chucking forces

New
Fixed Length design with reduced OD for maximum
tool clearance. CB-ND chucks are lubricated for
life and feature adjusting screws to accurately
true-up the chuck during installation. Removeable
stop plates and stop housings are available for
conversion to chucking work.
Low
profile Fixed Length design for sub spindle
applications. Some models include integral stop
plates for part locators and ejectors.
The
CB-B & CB-K are Pull Back style chucks
that maximize the efficiency of the chucking system
by concentrating all forces in the direction of
the machine spindle. The collet is pulled into the
chuck body during clamping, yielding greater accuracy
and maximum rigidity. CB-K series chucks feature
a removable stop plate for fast conversion from
bar to chucking work.
A
self-contained Pull Back style collet chuck
with built-in hydraulic cylinder for stationary
applications. The Pull Back design of the
CB-NR chuck maximizes the efficiency of the chucking
system by concentrating all forces in the direction
of the machine table, and positions the workpiece
firmly against the part stop.
