In addition to offering a wide range of standard workholding products, MicroCentric also specializes in designing and builing custom engineered workholding systems for specific machine and workpiece applications. Our technical salesmen and engineers work with you to design special top jaws, special configuration collets, part stops, ejectors, and other custom tooling. We can also modify standard chuck models, or design completely special chucks to meet specific requirements.

After receipt of a customer's workpiece drawings and machine specifications, our technical salesmen will review your application and submit a detailed quotation, often with concept drawings of the system proposed. Upon receipt of an order a project engineer will design the workholding system and submit detailed layout drawings to the customer for design approval. After the design is approved our skilled tool makers will manufacture and runoff the complete system, chucking the customer's actual workpieces. Installation is also quoted upon request.
