The products are all of modular design, so they may be combined to form a complete solution. Quality is a trademark of SCHUNK grippers. Only high-quality materials are used. Steel components are hardened, and new products must pass a series of tests and performance criteria.

Special Gripping Systems

For years, SCHUNK has been designing and manufacturing special gripping systems for automation and handling units in nearly all sectors of industry. The SCHUNK designs are based on a vast knowledge of our own grippers as well as experience in a wide range of applications--from grippers for handling pizzas through the handling of perfume bottles, to the assembly of wheel shafts. The standard products may be combined with various attachments, and by using corresponding fingers, a custom solution may be attained without the high cost of custom tooling expense. SCHUNK gripping systems are also ISO 9001 certified.
