DU68® Fixture Vise
DU68 The Fixture Vise from Kurt offers a new "systems" approach to precision workholding. The 80,000-PSI ductile iron base has superior vibration damping characteristics. The ability to carve part profiles on all four sides of the movable jaw adds versatility and economical advantages.

Features:
  • Famous AngLock principle assures minimum part lift.
  • Quick change movable jaws - top mounted stationary jaw (4 cap screws).
  • Needle thrust bearing used at hex end of screw to reduce clamping friction.
  • Outside rail edges of body are machined. This new edge allows you to indicate alignment during set-up.

 
  • Bed height matched to size 2.875" (73.025 mm) within ±.0005" (same as D688 and D675 vises).
  • Repeatability within .001".
  • Metric version available.

DU68ALU - Jaw Kit
Quick Change, Machinable Soft Jaws

  • 90° indexable soft jaws (6061 - T6 Aluminum) can be machined to fit the shape of your part for inexpensive dedicated fixturing.
  • Movable jaw blocks are indexable and machinable on all four sides. Allows machining over bolt holes in stationary jaw.
  • Stationary jaws are keyed to the vise base for repeatability within .001".

New EZLock Quick Change Jaw Plate System

  • Jaws utilize EZLock quick change jaw plates.
  • Unique jaw plate locating groove assures repeatability of .0005" or less in repeat set-ups.
  • Jaw plates lock/unlock from the top of vise.
  • EZLock jaw plates will accept new Groove Lock workstops.
  • Stationary jaws are keyed to the vise base for repeatability within .001".
