Thes systems are used to machine a wide variety of materials, from various steels to carbon, powdered metals, special "pressed" composites, investment castings, die castings, plastics, phenolics, teflons, rubbers, etc.
Typical cutting operations are performed with form tools or single point and include cutoff, chamfering, turning, boring, grooving, facing, special forming, seal slicing, etc.
