The 80,000-PSI ductile iron base has superior vibration damping characteristics. The ability to carve part profiles on all four sides of the movable jaws adds versatility and economical advantages. Versatility - the basic CarvLock vise base can be converted into other models simply by changing jaw kits. By removing the center jaw and adding the optional conversion plate it becomes a single station vise.	Flexibility - quick change jaws reduce set-up times. (for greater part turn-arounds). Economy - jaws may be carved on all four sides Self adjusting throughout entire clamping range. Can clamp A and B loads in same set-up. Accuracy - job-to-job setup changes within locating holes in vise base held to ±.001". 2" jaw travel using the CarvLock jaw kits.
